Long layovers, lost luggage and endless lines face many of us who fly.
Flying on private plane isn't only for the rich and famous anymore.
"With us, you can pick-up the phone the night before, say I want to go to Charleston tomorrow. The plane will be there waiting on you," Imagine Air pilot Aaron Sohacki said.
That affordable convenience is thanks to a new air-taxi concept called Imagine Air.
"We're not going to make you take off your shoes and steal your toothpaste from you. You just hop in and go with us," Haroon Qureshi said.
And that's exactly what repeat customer Cathy Tiller and her son are about to do. "Basically I can leave out of a local airport that I choose at a time that works for me," Tiller said.
"We modeled the entire business around providing the best value to our customers. So with the planes we have and the way we operate them, we can do that at a very effective price," Sohacki said.
With Imagine Air, you'll pay for the distance you travel. Be prepared to spend between $3 and $4 a mile.
For example, a flight from Augusta to Charleston will cost you $545 dollars. That price includes your own plane, capable of carrying three people plus a pilot.
"Even with the commercial flights, I have found them to be very comparable," Tiller said.
Not only are the planes as comfortable as sitting in your car, they also have the latest technology to get you where you have to go and safely.
"It gets the same gas mileage as an SUV. The only difference is instead of doing 70 miles-per-hour, we're doing 200 miles-per-hour," Sohacki said.
"I would recommend Imagine Air to anyone whose time is valuable to them and I can't think of anybody in today's world that time is not precious," Tiller said.
